Myth is an old story that everybody pretends to know. However once someone asks you who Athena is, we realize that we are so innocent about it.
Norse Mythology? I would not even pretend to know about it.
The only reason I pick up this book is because of the author who wrote 'Coreline' and 'the graveyard book'. Honestly, I was not much interested in Norse mythology. I did not know that Thor was the main character in Norse mythology.
The cover page shows us Thor's great hammer, Mjolir, which boosts my interest about the book. This book gives me the chance to meet attractive norse gods who are so similar to greek gods.
It doesn't matter if you are much aware of mythology or not. If you have some imagination and open mind to accept the bizarre and unpredictable behaviors of the norse gods, I can guarantee that you will enjoy the book. I recommend this book because the story is so interesting that it is more like watching a TV show. The book itself is quite thick but it is not as hard as it looks. Please just pick up the book!
